Furniture screed "confirmat" is used to connect furniture blanks (parts) from (chipboard, MDF, plywood, solid wood).
It is used in the manufacture of furniture and joinery.
Confirmat is the simplest and most common furniture screed that has a wide application.

The advantage of the confirmat is the rigidity of the attachment and a simple additive, while a small error in the markup is acceptable and the possibility of correcting it.
The disadvantages include the method of fastening itself, which leaves a visible head of the confirmation on the front surface of the part.
It is ideal to use a screed in such nodes that are invisible in the finished furniture design.
To install the confirmat, two holes are drilled:

• for a thread with a diameter of 5 mm,
• under the head, diameter 7mm
• countersinking under the head.

For professional installation, there is a special step drill that does all the operations in one pass.
After installation, the head is closed with a plastic plug, which can be purchased from specialized furniture companies.

Eccentric coupler-rafiks - installation.

Rafiks - the furniture coupler is intended for a coupler of horizontal and vertical details of furniture. The advantage of the rafix screed is the ability to simultaneously perform the function of a screed and a shelf holder. Basically, the use of a screed is used for rigid fastening of shelves, but at the same time, multiple assembly and disassembly of the product is possible without violating the integrity and strength of the fittings. A rafix is ​​installed without through drilling on the visible parts of the furniture, thereby not spoiling the appearance.

The rafix screed consists of a body, a hook (bolt) and a plug. The body of the rafix tie can be made of plastic (several colors: white, black, cream) and zinc alloy. The hook is made of galvanized and uncoated steel of various shapes and purposes, and can also have a plastic spacer sleeve.

Minifix finds wide application in the manufacture of cabinet furniture from chipboard and MDF.
The advantage of the minifix eccentric tie is its fastening mobility:
- the ability to connect parts both at an angle of 90 degrees and at any required angle (connection with a mustache).
- unlike the screed, the rafix minifix can be installed in horizontal and vertical planes.
- Provides multiple assembly and disassembly of parts.
- installed without through drilling, which allows you to maintain the aesthetic appearance of the front of the furniture.
- fast installation of a coupler.
- used to connect furniture boards with a thickness of 16mm to 40mm or more.

The disadvantages are the increased cost and complexity of the additive.

To install the minifix eccentric, two holes are drilled in one part and one in the other - for example:

Size B for the minifix dowel can only be 34mm. or 24mm.

Dimension A  depends on the thickness of the plate (16, 18, 19)  and is respectively 8; 9; 9.5mm .
